Our Bridge - SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE 75TH ANNIVERSARY Celebrations - FREE

Time: All Day
Cost: FREE
Location: Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Rocks, Darling Harbour

On 19 March, 1932 the Sydney Harbour Bridge was formally opened to the public, uniting the communities of the North and South shores of Sydney Harbour. The event attracted almost the entire population of Sydney and thousands more within NSW, and nationally.

On Sunday 18 March, 2007 Sydney will mark the 75th Anniversary of this great Australian icon with a day of celebrations. In keeping with the scale of the Bridge itself, this celebration will earn a place on the national stage providing a day of shared history and memories for family, friends, colleagues, neighbours – all Australians, for decades to come.
